Hi, I'm Laura, the heart and soul behind HOME Harborough. Growing up, I was always rearranging furniture and creating cosy spaces. This early love for design naturally evolved into a career where I could help others create their dream environments. Whether it’s through selecting the perfect cushion, finding that statement piece of furniture, or completely redesigning a space, I thrive on making interiors that resonate with their owners’ personalities and lifestyles.
HOME Harborough is not just a shop; it’s a reflection of my passion for beautiful interiors and my commitment to bringing unique, curated pieces to the wonderful community of Market Harborough. As a part of the Lloyd Harden Design group, we benefit from a rich legacy of excellence in design and architecture, allowing us to offer a holistic approach to home styling and decor.
A Lloyd Harden Design Story
Ours is a love story. A love between two people, and a love of helping people achieve the dream home that they deserve.
In 2020, Lloyd Harden launched Lloyd Harden Design. An Architectural Design Consultancy specialising in designing life-changing home extensions, dream new builds, and award-winning parks.
In 2021, Lloyd and I met and grew the business together, moving it to Leicestershire, where a larger premises allowed the team to grow to four talented Architectural Designers and Technicians.
In 2022, the team continued to grow and we recruited a Design Manager to run our Residential team. This allowed Lloyd to focus on Leisure projects and me to focus fully on Interior Design. We worked on some phenomenal projects this year and started looking to the future.
In 2023, we opened Interiors by Lloyd Harden Design, a space where I could focus on Interior Design projects. The showroom gradually evolved into a Homewares and Gifts Boutique, and we created a website to sell the wares of our talented suppliers.
In 2024, following the success of Interiors by Lloyd Harden Design in Kibworth, we recruited another Interior Designer, which allowed us to take on more projects. Our portfolio grew, and we worked with some local businesses on their interiors, also sourcing products for them.
The success of the Boutique started the thought process of finding our own little piece of Market Harborough, where we could further showcase our home décor, unique furnishings, and quality accessories.
In July 2024, HOME Harborough opened its doors and our new dedicated website was launched!

We support local talent as well as some global brands, mixing up our offering to create our unique style. This allows us to fully understand the products we are selling and ensure that we are recommending the right pieces for our customers.
